Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the conditions for using the app “Yaylog” (the “App”) provided by Yaylog Operator (“we” or “us”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the App
The App lets you record and look back on the things you did each day. Your records are stored on your device and are not sent to our servers.
2. Your records
- Your records are stored only on your device. If they are lost because your device is lost, broken or reset, or because you delete the App, we cannot recover them.
- You may be able to restore them from your OS backup (iCloud or Google backup), but we do not guarantee it. Please use the App’s Export feature to keep a copy of records that matter to you.
3. Paid features (Yaylog Plus)
- Some features of the App are offered as the paid “Yaylog Plus” (“Plus”). The contents and prices of Plus are shown on the purchase screen in the App.
- Purchases, payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google (the “Store”) and are subject to the Store’s terms and policies. Please request refunds from the Store where you made the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, a subscription renews for the same period at the same price. You can cancel anytime in your Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- The one-time purchase is a single payment and does not renew.
- You can use Plus again with “Restore purchases” while signed in to the same Store account. Purchases cannot be transferred between iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
- Export / Import moves only your records, not your purchases.
4. Prohibited conduct
When using the App, you must not:
- Violate any law or public order and morals
- Modify or reverse-engineer the App, or use paid features by unauthorized means
- Interfere with the operation of the App
5. Changes to or end of the App
We may change the App or stop providing it without prior notice. If we stop offering subscriptions, we will announce it in advance in the App or on this website.
6. Disclaimer
- We do not guarantee that the App is free of defects or fits any particular purpose.
- Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the month the damage occurred, unless such a limitation is not permitted by applicable law, including consumer protection laws.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms when necessary. Changes take effect when posted on this page. We will announce important changes in the App or on this website.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The district court having jurisdiction over our location shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the App.
